LNIB Coonan 1911B built with a rare factory compensator. Chambered in powerful .357 magnum and in the original numbered to gun box with manual and loading tool. This pistol appears to be unfired since factory and in excellent condition. These amazing 1911 type pistols are an amazing handgun that cycles and fires the rimmed .357 mag cartridge. The Coonan is modeled after the classic John M. Browning-designed 1911 pistol. It is a stainless steel-framed, recoil-operated, semi-automatic that is chambered in .357 Magnum with a 7+1 capacity. However, this is not simply a 1911 pistol chambered for a different cartridge, and it features many unique elements that make it its own species. Sadly Coonan has closed its production making finding one in this original condition a good day. The factory installed ported compensator makes this gun special, both as a smooth shooter and as a collectable.
