"Ketland and Co. English Officer’s Fusil. Circa early 19th century. Approximately .64 caliber with a 42" octagon to round barrel. Lock is marked “W. Ketland & Co." and top of barrel is marked “London". Metal has a smooth aged patina. Stock is fine with a small crack above the toe on the right. Brass furniture is fine with light engraving on the butt plate tag and nicely decorated trigger guard, featuring a pineapple. Both sling swivels are present and functional. Has four cleaning rod pipes. This English Fusil is in great shape for a 200 Plus year old gun. It has a correctly working lock and would be great addition to your collection.
