FIRST YEAR PRE-WW2 GERMAN NAZI MAUSER K98K S/42K 8X57MM INFANTRY CARBINE CIRCA 1934. All original and matching except bolt which is an original wartime replacement. Stock and butt plate matching as well. Very good overall with the original battle worn blue and stock finish. Ordnance proofs stamped on barrel, and receiver with two on right side over-stamped in the post war period. Working order and very good rifling that will clean even better. These early K98K’s served thru the entire war.
