An Early & Desirable U.S. Civil War Military Issued Joslyn Model 1862 Cavalry Carbine In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #1,918, all matching numbers. All original & Complete. The carbine has fine untouched metal and markings throughout with very good edges. It is U.S. sub inspected. All of the metal on the gun has a natural dark chocolate brown natural patina on it. All of the brass hardware is nice and also untouched with a mellow color to it. The wood is fine throughout with crisp edges. There are two clear U.S. Inspectors cartouches above the saddle bar on the backside. The carbine has a very good bore and tight action. This Is A Fine Looking Example Of An Untouched U.S. Civil War Joslyn Model 1862 Cavalry Carbine That Is Fresh Out Of An Old Collection!
