Here is a very nice 1873 Winchester 3rd Model in the favorite caliber, .44-40. Bore is excellent with sharp lands, probably an 7-8 on a 1-10 scale. Octagon barrel. Functions properly and is all original with the possible exception of the rear sight elevator. It seems to have a bit more blue on it than it should. Stock is strong with most original finish. Lettering is sharp. Screwheads look unturned. Metal is smooth with no pitting and retains most original finish though turned to patina. This is a very well cared-for 130 year old rifle that ships right to your door in most states. $60 shipping and insurance in the lower 48. Layaway available.
