Description:
We have an interesting early pepperbox that is marked Allen & Wheelock. It has a six shot cylinder that rotates counter clockwise with engravings on the body. All mechanics are sound and crisp. The barrel body, cylinder, and wood grips all have a dark rich patina from age. It is unknown whether it originally had a trigger guard as there isn't one now.
It is an interesting piece of American history and would be a great addition to any collection or man cave.
