Description:
Universal M1 Carbine .30 Carbine
This is a commercial copy of the US M1 Carbine manufactured by Universal Firearms of Hialeah, Florida. I am not sure when this one was made, but it appears to have some military surplus parts and the stock and handguard are walnut. The gun is in excellent condition with about 98% of its factory blued and parkerized finishes remaining. There is just an occasional small scuff in a couple of places. The bore and mechanics are excellent. The stock is excellent as well. Included is a good WWII style sling and a 30 round magazine, also in excellent condition. Universal stopped production in 1983 after being acquired by Iver Johnson. There are not many left in this condition.
