This sale features a beautiful 20 gauge Ithaca Grade 4 serial number 354834. The title lists the gun as a 4E. It is not a 4E but rather a grade 4. GI won't let me edit the title. Sorry for any confusion. The gun is equipped with a beavertail forend and 28” steel barrels with two ivory bead sights. The barrels are chambered for 2 ¾” shells and choked modified and improved cylinder. The engraving is sharp and beautiful and stock & forend checkering is sharp. Now for the problem. It is quite evident in the picture of the stock. At some point during it’s life something happened to the butt end of the stock and was poorly repaired. There a few of these guns listed on Guns International with prices ranging from $6000 to $8000. As a result of the poor stock repair, the price on this gun will be half of what the others are listed for. One of you Ithaca collector/shooters might have a stock stashed away waiting for just the right gun. Well, here it is. The gun will be shipped in the pictured case.
