Description: This is a black, bridle leather belt of the Junior Officer 1883-1914 pattern, with two-piece gilt brass buckle with applique German silver IJN fouled anchor and cherry blossom insignia. The leather has minor crazing throughout, as well as some mild flaking on some of the edges and flex points. The sliding fob is embossed on the reverse, and the two hangers are in fine shape, with their original spring-clips still attached. This is a fine-excellent example of a fairly rare piece of WW1 era Japanese naval memorabilia, and would make a great addition to any collection. SOLD Manufacturer: Japanese Model: Sword Belt |
