Description:
This is a great looking, original flask with most of the original lacquered finish remaining save for a few small areas of wear on one side near the patent top. The spout itself has a fully functional spring, and has a mottled bright yellow and dull brown patina. The top has a crisp 1850 date, "BATTY" stamp, and "ADK" inspector marking as well. The embossed design is in excellent shape on both sides, without any dents or breaks. The original hanger rings are in excellent condition too. This is an excellent example of an original Batty Peace Flask, and would make a splendid addition to any collection.
