Description:
Serial #22468, .30 Rem., 22" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1914-made rifle that retains 85-90% of the original blue finish with some silvering and fading at the muzzle, along the high edges, and some further graying along the magazine tube. The grooved walnut forend, and pistol-grip buttstock have minor handling marks in the original oil finish, and the hard rubber "REMINGTON / UMC" buttplate is intact, with very little wear. This is a fine-near excellent example of a 1920s Remington sporting rifle, and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
