Description:
Serial #(series 25) 7724, 7.7mm Arisaka, 26" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has traces of freckling within the grooves. This is a Kokura marked rifle with ground 'mum, that has a non-matching bolt and retains 70-75% of the original blue turning to a mellow plum-brown with areas of thin surface freckling throughout. The stock and handguard are in about very good overall condition with scattered moderate handling marks and surface blemishes throughout the original varnish finish, and rough milling marks on the wrist. The cleaning rod is missing. This is a good-very good Type 99 overall and would make a nice representative example for a collection. FFL or C&R
