Description:
This may be the one of the last opportunities to acquire the Marlin Brace of 1000 Presentation Set with matching serial numbers and its presentation case. While the rifles are identified as a matching set, Blue Book no longer lists the value of these rifles as a set, but rather individually. In additon, there is no longer any reference to the presentation case. This Brace of One Thousand Commemorative set was built in 1970. Both rifles are new and included with the presentation box. They have been in my personal storage since the early 90s.The set consists of a Presentation grade Model 336 .30-30 and a Model 39 in .22LR (capable of shooting .22S, L, or LR). Both guns are nicely engraved by Master Engravers Robert Kain and Winston Churchill. The foam liner of the presentation box had deterieated before I received the set. The side of the case holding the rifles has been relined with foam and felting. The other components of the case is all original. The set is in Like New Condition and unfired to the best of my knowledge. The matching serial numbers are in the low 600s. The guns will be shipped in multiple packages to insure its safe arrival. The freight will be calculated based on the ship to address. Payment can be made with a Money Order, Certified Check, or Credit Card with a 3% process fee.
