The .243.... the cartridge that eliminated the need for a smaller varmit gun or a bigger deer gun.
This gun can do it all. This is the Savage model 99 in the .243 caliber. A rapid firing lever action
that swings and aims like a part of your arm. This gun is in fine condition. The bore is excellent ,case color and blue are excellent, wood is excellent. The gun is as clean inside as out. I don't think it has seen much use at all . Certainly no misuse!
It's a gorgeous gun with cut checkering, great finish all over. We shot it several times in test firing. Not one issue was seen.
You won't have any issues either, never saw a 99 jam. You'll love this Savage.
