Leupold, VX-3, 4.5-14X40 with Boon and Crockett reticle and a neoprene scope cover.
The.300 RUM in the 700LSS was manufactured between 1999-2004. This gun does not have the date code on the barrel. Remington stopped using the date codes from 8/9/99 to 10/01/01, so it was likely manufactured in that time frame.
The metal is in very good to excellent condition with some minor handling and rub marks. There are rub or scratch marks on both sides of the barrel just above the wood. The gun has been bedded which probably accounts for these marks, see pics. A muzzle brake has been added.
Stock is in excellent condition with a few minor handling marks, dings and light dents.
Bore is bright with strong rifling.
Scope is in excellent, near new condition.
The previous owner said that he only shot a couple of boxes of ammo through it, but he bought it used and had no info about the previous owner.
Overall a really nice, hard to find rifle in an outstanding long range elk caliber.
