Description: The Model 99 is a hammerless lever action rifles created by the Savage Arms Company in Utica, New York. The Model 99 featured a unique rotary magazine. The rotating magazine design allowed the rifle to be one of the first lever-action rifles to use spitzer bullets. This Model 99 was made in 1949 and comes equipped with a Made-in-the-USA Weaver K 2.5 riflescope. The rifle is in good condition and would be wonderful rifle for someone who is looking for a hunting rifle that hearkens back to the days when all firearms were wood and steel, beauty and functionality were not mutually exclusive attributes. .300 Savage SOLD Metal Condition: Very good. Wood Condition: Good. There are two small cracks by the tang that appear to be cosmetic and not structural. It may have been a chip that was glued back on. See photos.
