Description:
FIne early gun made in 1893 on a #1 Frame with 30" plain twist barrels. Gun made with checkered splinter forend, double triggers, extractors, capped pistol grip buttstock with original Dogs Head buttplate. Border engraved receiver.
Overall the gun remains in fine mostly original condition. Stocks are sound and retain a good amount of original finish with scattered handling marks and hunting bruises. They have not been restored or sanded and wood to metal fit is perfect. Checkering remains well defined. The barrels have been professionally rebrowned bringing out the beautiful twist pattern and about all of that finish remains. The receiver retains about 20% original case color. Bores are mostly bright with some scattered light pits. Gun is sound.
