Description:
Very rare early "0" Frame gun made in 1878 with lightning cuts in the frame.  This $65 grade gun made with 28" Plain Twist barrels, splinter forend with Deely release, straight grip buttstock with early style original full steel buttplate.

This gun was found in its original condition with a non-radiused frame whis is always prone to cracking when shot.  A previous owner sent the gun to noted Parker Gunsmith, David Fjeline, who added a radius to the frame and barrels giving the gun a new lease on shooting life.  The gun is mechanically sound and has been shot by the previous owners with great success!

The gun remains in fine condition with about 85% of what appears to be the original browning on the twist barrels.  Stocks are sound, factory original (PGCA letter calls for Pistol Grip stock, but the straight grip buttstock on this gun is absolutely factory original) and retain most of their ancient restored finish.  Receiver retains strong traces of original case color.  Trigger guard with about 30% original blue.  Bores are mostly bright and shiny with some minor scattered pits.

This scarce gun is priced at $2495 plus shipping to your door.  Please dont hesitate to contact me at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site with any questions.
