1854 Dated barrel
Here we present an antique Composite Flintlock U.S. Model 1816 Pattern Musket, made circa the 1820s-30s. This example has been assembled with parts from different guns. The barrel is dated 1854. This gun has been through a lot by the look of it!
Robust action. The bore is smooth and in good shape. Solid stock, contains an above average amount of wear. This example is missing the ramrod. The middle barrel band is loose. “6” is stamped onto the lock and similar markings can be found throughout. “1854” dated barrel tang.
