Description:
A Metropolitan Navt Revolver one of the 6300 produced during the two year period following the devastating fire that the Colt Factory suffered on February 1864.This gun has a 7-1/2 inch barrel with worn rifling,
and one pice grips Bering a former owner's initials, it is a six shot 36 caliber. This piece shows use,but still retains traces of the cylinder scene! Gun functions as it should, although action is a little stiff advancing at one cylinder which maybe caused by the unnumbered worn wedge. This is a good example of a scarce revolver for your collection at a reasonable cost.
