Antique 41 Cal1840's Tacked Native American Indian Goulcher Full Stock Smoothbore Rifle
At offer is a fine example of a beautiful mid 19th Century Brass Tack Decorated Native American Indian Goulcher Musket. This is about as honest as they come and belonged to an East TN Cherokee Indian and was passed down for generations in the family from who's estate this came. It has not been cleaned or repaired for many, many years.
It is approximately 56" overall with a barrel that is approximately .60 caliber smoothbore. There are period repairs to the stock that make you wish this gun could talk. These beautifully decorated pieces of Native American firearms have become very difficult to come by.
