Description:
This Whitney Kennedy Rifle shows a really nice patina finish throughout. All original blue finish is gone showing a nice natural aged grey patina. Octagon barrel .44-40 caliber. The front sight appears to be a replacement. The markings on the tang are a bit faint. The buttstock and forearm are very good condition. Mechanically the lever is tight and the action functions as it should. The bore shows areas of roughness and would rate a 5 to a 5.5 on a 1 to 10 scale. Nice honest gun that’s somewhat hard to find. Shipping is $60 plus actual insurance. Buyer can choose the insurance amount it wanted. Thanks!
