We've had a few of these over the years, not too often found Savage Pump Woods Deer rifle but this is the lst we can recall in a Carbine length. Handy 18 1/2" barrel, overall lenght only about 38" makes it a great woods rifle, good for a scabbard or truck.
There is some very light scale affecting the finish modestly, NOT deep pitting or other and some finish has been added to the stock but not damage or shortened or otherwise fiddled with
Comes with Weaver type on piece base and rings but still has front and rear (folding) sight.
Handy and fast tang safety.
Lever Evolution ammo brings this chambering into the 21st century ...at least according to the marketing info
