In 1908, the J Stevens Arms and Tool Co. of Chicopee Falls, Mass., brought out a novel pump-action .22 rifle that was marked on the barrel, "Visible Loading Repeater." It was cataloged as the "'Visible loading Repeater' No. 70," and continued in the line in .22 Shot/Liong/LR or .22 Short only (Model 70) versions through the companies name change in 1916 (J.Stevens Arms Co.). This package DOES NOT come with the original hard case. The overall condition is fair with a dent in the rear of the stock and markings from use all over the frame of the firearm.
