This is a classic Remington 1100, manufactured as a special run of 3,000 to commemorate their anniversary, displays Remington’s elite level craftsmanship. This shotgun’s elaborate design is composed of a solid Remington recoil pad, 2-piece stock with fleur-de-lis checkering at the pistol grip and point pattern checkering at the forend and highlighted by a receiver which has been masterfully machine-engraved. The receiver’s left-side depicts various hunting scenes, while the right-side displays 2 golden shotguns surround and intricate scrollwork surrounding “Remington Arms Company – One of Three Thousand” marked in the center. A vented rib with a single bead front sight sits atop a barrel bearing a nice, blued finish. This Remington Model 1100 Diamond Anniversary Commemorative Edition 12-gauge is mechanically sound and an aesthetical wonder.
