EXCELLENT PRE-WAR MODEL 71 DELUXE .348 WCF RIFLE, #21XXX, MADE 1941. This is a really nice example that has seen just a little hunting use, but no abuse. It retains about all the blue with the slightest of wear on the magazine cap and the slightest of thinning by the serial number under the receiver and on the loading gate. The balance retains about all the deep high polish blue with excellent screws., and only the lever showing blue wear. The front sight retains the sight hood and the bolt is fitted with the desirable bolt peep sight. The checkering on the pistol grip and forend is fine and the pistol grip cap is intact. The walnut in the butt stock is a little nicer than standard grade with a touch of fiddle back. and retains the original checkered steel butt plate. This rifle also retains the super grade swivels and sling. Tight mechanically and minty bright bore. Sharp 80 year old Deluxe 71.
