Description:
The Marlin Model 62 Levermatic was manufactured from 1963 to 1969 and was chambered in either .256 Mag. or .30 Carbine. This Model 62 is fitted with a 20 inch "JM" stamped barrel, pistol grip stock fitted sling swivel studs, a black plastic grip cap and a checkered black "MARLIN" monogramed butt-plate, open sights, is blue finished, and chambered in .30 Carbine. The rifle is in fine condition, with the barrel retaining 50% original blue, the frame approximately 80%, and the lever 50%. The stock retains most of its original finish, with assorted handling marks/scuffs/pressure dents. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, though there is a very small area of spotting. The action works fine but the lever does not stay up all the way with out the lever lock in place. The sights are crisp with the rear sight retaining its elevator, and the front sight is missing its original hood. Comes with (1) 4-round magazine, sorry no box or paper-work.
