This rifle has ejectors and has been rechambered in 9.3x74R and reproved in 2010 at the London Proof House. The casehardened boxlock action displays fine floral scroll engraving surrounding "I. HOLLIS & SONS" on either side and two big cat game scenes, a tiger on the left and a leopard on the right. The rifle features bushed firing pins, double triggers, and an automatic tang mounted safety switch. Retaining 99% of a reapplied finish and recut markings, smooth, polished silver patina on the lock and buttplate with some softening of the engraving, and light handling. The Anson push button has turned a plum patina. The refinished wood is also in great condition with few light marks and some slight gaps to the metal. Includes a leather cornered canvas bound takedown case marked with "Q.L.C." on the lid and green baize interior featuring an Isaac Hollis trade label and a set of scope rings.
