Description:
Frank E. Malin Two Barrel Set Side By Side Box Lock 12 gauge Shotgun is in excellent condition. It has two 26" barrels with single brass bead sights and 1 7/8" wedges of scrollwork at the breeches and nitro proof markings on the undersides along with matching serial numbers "11" on one and "12 on the other. Both barrels have the Melbourne/London address and scroll engravings on the ribs. The color casehardened receiver is 95% covered in scroll engravings, with gold inlaid "Safe" on the manual safety. It has a checkered straight grip stock and has a checkered bare butt. It comes with a brown leather Malin takedown case with a canvas slip cover. It retains 98% of the original bluing with light spotting on the barrels, It has light handling marks on the stock, barrel, and on the leather case. SN: 78347 12 Gauge
