SUPERIOR COLT MODEL 1878 GRADE 1 HAMMER 12 GA. SIDE X SIDE SHOTGUN MFG. 1883. 30” Damascus barrels choked Modified and Modified. 2 ¾” chambers. Case hardened locks signed “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO.”. Checkered walnut semi pistol grip stock and splinter forend. 14” pull, 2”, 3’ drop. Factory original steel butt plate. Weight 9 pounds. Extra fine condition with much of the original brown Damascus barrel finish and case hardening colors on the lock plates. Hammers and top lever with original blue. Perfect working order and excellent bore. Extra nice. Factory letter on order.
