Colt Sauer Grand Alaskan .375 H&H Magnum. Nearly New. Excellent condition. This is one of the more difficult calibers to find in this beautiful series made by J.P. Sauer and Sons in collaboration with Colt. Colt is also the importer. The .375 H&H Magnum is widely regarded by PHs in Africa as the all around most versatile cartridge. Suitable for the Big Five as well as all of the large antelope. Oustanding longer range ballistics compared to the .458 Winchester. And of course all North American large game including the Great Bears.
- Unmolested in its original Express Rifle configuration. Excellent condition.
- All original stock, grip cap & buttpad. Many of these Colt Sauer rifles have been re-stocked. Usually done by a shop in Hamilton, MT. Nice work but you will not be buying an original German rifle.
- Non-rotating bolt action. Perhaps the smoothest and quietest bolt action ever made.
- Ammunition in photos is NOT included but may be purchased separately.
- All photos were taken with intense halogen lighting. What appear to be minor scratches in the finish are all halos in the deep finish created by the lighting. I gaurantee the finish is very close to 100%. If you would like any additional photos of any area please just ask.
- This is in like new condition with the exception of the sight base area. Minor marks where a factory base was mounted. These can be easily re-blued by a gunsmith. Or if you intend to add factory bases and rings they will not be seen. Also a very small chip by the tang. See photos for both.
