PARKER VHE 16 GA 30” BARRELS AND EJECTORS
The DAC is 1 3/8”. The DAH IS 2 1/2”. Weight 6 lbs 15.5 oz. 15” length of pull to the end of the Hawkins recoil pad.
Barrels 30” uncut Vulcan Steel barrels, 2 9/16" Chambers with excellent clean bores with no corrosion, rust, pitting or dents. Bores measure .662” choked .032” (full) each. Strong ejectors. Barrels had upper and lower ribs relayed by Dave Fegelline. Then slow rust blued. Ribs are tight and barrels ring beautifully.
The stock had been modified (customized) to reduce the comb height and slim the stock below the comb on both sides. Dave restored normal DAC by installing a piece of wood to bring the gun back up to normal height. The area below the comb remains slimmed on both sides. Wood is refinished and recheckered. It is solid and sound with a small chip repair on the right side of the head at the top where it meets the receiver.
The gun locks up very tight and is on face. Has Auto safety. All numbers match.
This gun is an excellent “shooter” and functions flawlessly. It would make an excellent Pheasant, Dove and/or Pigeon Gun.
