Here is a Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine from 1905. This is a very presentable little rifle, not in the rougher condition of so many of these carbines. Wood and metal are in fine shape, with much original finish. Sights are the standard carbine front sight and a tang mounted peep. There is a filler in the rear barrel slot.Wood/metal fit is excellent, typical of oldtime Winchester craftsmanship. Action works perfectly.. Bore has good rifling but some roughness mid-bore, probably a 6-7 on a 1-10 scale.Oveall a solid and attractive carbine. $60 shipping and insurance to your ffl or C&R. Layaway available. Just noticed there is some very minor pitting on the barrel, right behind the front band. Very minor but worth a price drop to $2000.
