When you think of Franchi shotguns, you picture semi- autos and over and unders! Well-Franchi has also made top quality sidelock double barrels that rival many of the top guns in the world. This 1951 vintage Imperiale model is one such gun and is suitable for any type of game shooting and would make a fine clays gun too! The barrels are 28 inches bored .010 and .016. The second set is 29 5/8 inches bored .032 and .039. The gun weighs 6-15 with the shorter set of barrels and 7-1 with the long set. The LOP is 14 1/4 inches over a 1/2 inch pad. Drops are 1 3/8 x 2 1/8 inches. 2 3/4 inch chambers. The bores and mechanics are excellent. Top lever is to the right. The wood is fine quality and the stock has nicely done drop points. The original case was lost and I'll ship the guns in an excellent Browning 2 barrel Hartman style case. These were cases made for Belgian Browning Superposed shotguns. It's not a perfect fit, but it works. If you don't want this case, you can deduct $300 from the price. Buy now and I'll pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48. A ton of quality for a very reasonable price!
