Marlin 1897 deluxe model 22 lr. Made by Marlin in 1897 so first year of manufacturing. Wood stock is in 90% shape with predominate checkering in very nice shape. Metal casehardening has turned patina. Bore is in shootable shape with strong rifling. Bore is bright with some pitting. Looks like a repair on the forearm on right side. No ffl necessary as it was made in 1897. Some pitting on left side of receiver.
