"Zuluaga Spanish Body Guards of the King Pistol. Barrel marked in elegant script “Rl. Cuerpo de Guards, de la Persona del Rey. Barrel has maker’s sink in gold Zuluaga, M. in Madrid from 1800-1817. Barrel has the royal coat of arms of Aragon and Castilles. Trigger guard bow has the name Ramon Zuluaga in beautiful script. Lock is marked in script “Zuluaga". The stock on the left is marked by the stock maker “by Darte". Pistol has a captive ramrod. Checkering is perfect. The brass furniture is gold wash. The bore is .70 caliber. This is an elegant pistol that is a pleasure to look at and even more so to own it! Personal body guards to King Ferdinand VII. Note: Check out the flash pan figure!
