Description:
Very nice L.C. Smith in .410, serial number FWS56096. Only 2,375 shotguns in 410 were manufactured by LC Smith, this is a Field Grade Feather Weight model in beautiful shape. The barrels are 28” with 90%+ bluing and clean, shiny bores. Case Hardening on the receiver is bright and clear. Stocks are in fantastic shape, unfortunately there is a chip out of the bottom of the butt plate that also chipped a small piece of the wood. It has the desirable double triggers, lock-up is tight and the top lever still sits to the right. There are a few defects besides the stock chip, most notably some bluing wear on the right barrel at the breach and a scratch at the muzzle, also on the right barrel. The choke size does not seem to be shown and unfortunately I do not have a choke gauge. This is a just a beautiful shotgun and while the pictures are the best way to highlight the condition of this shotgun, they just can’t show how nice it actually is.
