Here we present a Savage Model 29 .22 Pump Action Rifle, branded for the Gamble Auto Supply chain of stores as the Model 31. It features a 24-inch round barrel chambered for the .22 S, L, LR cartridges. The rifle, like many pump or slide action rifles of the day, has a takedown feature that can easily divide the rifle into two more manageable pieces for transport. These were sold at the Pioneer Gamble stores under their name and were eminently useful, just as most .22 rimfire rifles are.
The overall condition is Fine. Original blue finish. Bright, sharply rifled bore. The action is excellent and eager. The stock was well-cared for. This is a great little gun for plinking, small game hunting or nostalgia!
