This is a hard to find RARE TRANSITION MODEL S&W Pre 29 44 magnum revolver. It has a 6.5" barrel and is in exceptional condition. Faint turn line. You will be hard pressed to find one in better shape. The serial range is S179XXX. That puts it in the 1957 production but it doesn't have a 29 marking. This is the only one I have ever seen made in 57 without the 29 marking. Payment by postal money order or certified bank check only. Item wil ship about 5 days after your payment is deposited. There are a number of Smith, Colt and Pre ban assualt weapons I would consider for trade ot trade and cash deals. Comes with a generic S&W box not period correct.
