.460 Rowland carbine conversion for 1911 frame
The Mech-Tech CCU (Carbine Conversion Unit) arrived a week ago, ammunition was soon assembled, and the gun was quickly put together. It’s an intriguing design, in that you need only a functional 1911 receiver to make it work. The 1911 lower slides into place under the CCU’s rails, and is fastened in place with the slide stop. It’s that simple.
