Description:
Savage model 1899A takedown in 30-30. Built in 1910,this rifle is in outstanding all original condition. It retains 95% of the original blue annd 98% of the original wood finish. It has a 26" round barrel with a mint bore. The stock and forend are sound with no cracks or damage. There is a small scuff on the right side of the receiver at the ejection port (shown in photos). Otherwise the rifle shows only slight edge wear. This is a very clean original 1899 in a desireable caliber. C&R eligible. Note: The shine on the wood is due to my wiping the gun down before taking the photos. The wood finish is original.
