Used as an infantry waist belt between 1863 and 1872, 100% original Civil War arrow-back “US” brass plate filled with soft solder (lead) with original gilt as does the open C-clasp belt tip. The brass C-clasp belt tip keeper is also 100% original to this belt. Minty unaltered belt which appears to have remained in government storage.
