This is a Smith and Wesson 28-2 Highway Patrolman, which was manufactured between 1954-1986. This model was created from the demand for a more utilitarian version of the ornate Smith & Wesson Model 27, primarily by law enforcement. This revolver is chambered in 357 Magnum, featuring the original checkered grips and a blued finish that is in great condition.
