We have for sale a beautiful pump action Model 42 chambered in 410 GA, with the 26 inch barrel, 3 inch chamber, full choke and front bead sight.

The action on this shotgun is smooth and slides as it should, bore is clean and the wood is beautiful.

This shotgun is in very nice condition and ready for your next hunt, or perfect addition to your collection. The wood is in very nice condition as well as the blued finish, with some small blemishes as pictured.

This beauty was manufactured in 1963, which makes this a wonderful collectors item or could be your next perfect bird gun; don’t let this one get away!

What to know about the Winchester Model 42 shotgun:
  • Introduced during the Great Depression, the Model 42 was produced until 1963.
  • It was the first pump gun designed for the 410 bore.
  • It's a scaled down version of the earlier Model 12 shotgun.
  • About 164,800 were produced, in a variety of grades and with special features.
  • The first pump-action shotgun designed specifically for the .410 was introduced by Winchester in 1933 as the Model 42. It was essentially a scaled-down variant of the famous Winchester Model 12, at least from the outward appearance. Winchester Chief Design Engineer William Roemer made some internal changes to allow the use of the diminutive .410 shell.
Please see photos for further condition. This rifle was imported and bears a discreet import mark.
