Description: Extremely rare gun made in the 1400 SN range, this $200 grade lifter made with wedge fastened splinter forend, double triggers, extractors. Buttstock with fantastic early shell carved rams head pistol grip and terminates with original skeleton buttplate. Stocked in fine European walnut. Gun is nicely engraved, most likely by Glahn as seen in the photos. Accompanying the gun us a set of 12ga chambermates, so the gun can be comfortably used with today's modern low pressure loads. Overall, the gun remains in pleasing original condition. Barrels retain about 1/2 of their original damascus pattern. Action retains about 30% light original case color. Stocks are sound and retain about 90% of their original finish with some finish added for preservation. Bores do show some minor pitting. Gun is tight and on face. This is an exceptionally rare early lifter and it is priced at $10,500 plus shipping to your home as an antique.
