Description:
This is a very solid Model 1851 Navy Revolver. S.N. 78875. It was made in 1857 and was one of a Govt. contract that was sent West for the U.S. Calvary. All numbers match. The wedge is stamped 8875. I cannot find any Cartouche on either grip. If they were replaced by the Ordinance Dept. I do not know if a new Cartouche was added? Overall this is a Fine or better example of a Navy. The navel scene is quite visible.  Case hardening remains on some of the loading lever. All patent stamps are there and in the correct locations. Shipping is $25.00 to the U.S. Only. Priced to sell at $2,749.00
