The Smith & Wesson Model 10-8 is an iconic, American-made revolver, with this variant designed for general-purpose self-defense with its 4\" barrel. The -8 model was introduced in 1977 and was a favorite among police officers, detectives, and private citizens during its prime. This revolver is rated in good, duty-use condition. It was a buy-back from Australia, with the State of Victoria Police Department QR asset tag still attached. It is duty worn and has a cylinder ring from use and minor rust pitting on the side plate. Most of the finish is worn on the barrel, cylinder, and front of the frame. It has Hogue monogrips and easily-removed Testors Orange paint on the front sight
