Glenfield, mfg 1971 by Marlin Firearms, Model 65 .22 LR Tube Magazine, Nice condition, does not appear to be fired more than a few times-stored in closet for decades-I bought from family of original owner.
a few safe/storage scratches, some paperwork included.
My research leads me to believe this information, you can verify:
"The "P" proof stamp was used on most of the so called store brand Marlins. I have a few store brand center-fire Marlins with the P instead of the typical JM stamp.
The Golden Fifty was made for OTASCO stores. That was store similar to a Western Auto. It stood for Oklahoma tire and supply co."
