Description:
Unabused No.2 Army, excellent mechanical shape with only the slightest barrel play. Deep rifling with a few blk powder pits - case hardened hammer with some on ejecter rod - bright factory blue on both sides of frame and on barrel flats - blue/brown patina on front and back strap. Rosewood grips excellent with original varnish. Overall NRA fine. In same collection for 30 years. 5" barrel model better balanced than the 6" model but fewer made. Virtually no damage on this one. 403xx serial, probabloy made in 1867.
