Description:
The Weatherby Mark V has a very unique history, as both the original 9-lug and the 6-lug bolt featured in this rifle, are in fact an interrupted screw breech similar to that used in artillery. This allows the weapon to handle much more powerful cartridges. Developing this new mechanism proved a challenge, but one that was ultimately met while maintaining the quality for which Weatherby is known. Chambered in 7mm-08 Remington, this Mark V is in excellent condition with only two minor imperfections in the finish of the gun itself, and very little wear on the rubber buttstock and attached 1-inch Burris rings. The synthetic stock looks as if it were new. The length of pull is 13.5 inches (trigger to back of the stock). 7mm-08 Remington
